FDM Suitable materials

The 3D printers can handle various materials provided these are supplied as filaments. In FabLab, the default material used for 3D printing is PLA (Polylactic Acid). This is a strong, durable and environmentally friendly material which makes it well suited for most applications.

If u want to print something with a material that is not PLA, just ask one of our employees, because we might already have this in stock. It is also allowed to bring your own material, but be aware that cheap materials are not always what they seem to be, so always check with a FabLab employee before using these.
