FDM Changing the nozzle temperature

Ultimaker 2+ Connect

  1. Click on the “tools icon.”
  2. Click on “set nozzle temperature.”
  3. Click on “start heating the nozzle.”
  4. Increase or decrease the temperature with the -10, -1, +1, +10 buttons.
  5. Click on the “cross icon” when you’re done. (Note: Only this printer will automatically cooldown the nozzle when you return to the main menu.)

Ultimaker 2 (Extended)

  1. Click on “maintenance.”
  2. Click on “advanced.”
  3. Click on “heat up nozzle.”
  4. Scroll the temperature up to the desired degrees.
  5. Set the temperature back down when you’re finished.

Ultimaker S5

  1. Click on the “printer icon.”
  2. Click on the nozzle that you want to change the material of.
  3. Click the “3 dots icon.”
  4. Click “set temperature.”
  5. Increase the nozzle temperature with the plus icon and decrease it with the minus icon. (Tip: Holding the button down will go quicker than just tapping the button.)
  6. Set the temperature back down when you’re finished.

Ultimaker 3

  1. Click on “material/print core.”
  2. Click on the core that you want to increase the temperature of.
  3. Click on “set temperature.”
  4. Rotate the knob counterclockwise to decrease the temperature and clockwise to increase the temperature.
  5. Set the temperature back down when you’re finished.

Prusa i3

  1. Click on the rotating knob.
  2. Click on “Settings.”
  3. Click on “Temperature.”
  4. Click on “Nozzle.”
  5. Move the rotating knob to the left to decrease the temperature and to the right to increase the temperature.
  6. Click on the rotating knob to forward the selected temperature to the printer.
  7. Set the temperature back down when you’re finished.
