Epilog Mirror alignment

There are 4 mirrors to align.

1. located bottom left backside (seen from front of machine) - align top left.
2. located top left backside - align bottom left.
3. located on the carriage - align top right and bottom right.
4. located in the lens assembly.

To align these 4 mirrors do the following:

1. Put the alignment crosshairs cap into the carriage.
2. Enable the red dot using the laser button on the touchscreen.

   

3. Go to menu -> Settings -> Alignment.
4. Mirror 1 and 2 are aligned using Top-left and Bottom-left alignment. Both mirror 1 and mirror 2 can be found behind magnetic metal plates.
5. Mirror 3 is aligned using Top-right and Bottom-right alignment.

   

   Mirror 1 is located behind a magnetic metal plate

6. To remove the mirror for cleaning: use the middle black screw. When re-inserting make sure the red dot laser is exactly on the crosshair target.
7. To align the mirror, use the 3 screws around the black plastic screw.

   

   Mirror 2.Alignment screws are the 3 black screws surrounding the middle screw

8. For better visual of the crosshair, you can open the black side curtain. It is fixed using Velcro.
